Varun Gandhi is the Managing Director of VLK Group, a diversified Indian enterprise spanning apparel manufacturing, proprietary brands, private-label production, nationwide distribution, real estate and industrial infrastructure.
He joined the family business in 1999 after studying at Shri Ram College of Commerce, completing an M.Com at the Delhi School of Economics and an MBA at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
He has played a central role in developing the Group’s organised manufacturing and distribution model, expanding access to high-quality apparel at affordable price points across India’s mass and emerging consumer markets. His responsibilities include corporate strategy, financial planning, capital allocation, manufacturing, distribution development, profitability management, diversification and long-term asset creation.
His philosophy is clear: revenue should not be pursued at the expense of profitability, cash flow or financial independence. VLK Group therefore builds with internal capital, grows through operating profits, retains ownership and lets valuation follow the business.
